Position Summary: CMC is seeking a dynamic and highly competent Research Coordinator. This person is key to the Office of Research and will play a pivotal role in supporting emerging and existing centres of research excellence. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting grant applications, management, and coordination to advance the institution's research strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Support & Coordination
o Facilitate the development of research centres of excellence.
o Conduct periodic reviews to identify and address gaps in the research ecosystem.
o Support departments in navigating administrative, financial, and legal processes related to research.
Job Preference: • Grant Management
o Assist researchers with grant applications by identifying and applying for external funding.
o Serve as a liaison for major funders, including ICMR, DBT, Gates Foundation, and Wellcome Trust.
