What is ABHA - Ayushman Bharat Health Account ID?
Unique health ID number available for all Indian Citizens provided by the Government of India linked to Aadhaar.
How do you create an ABHA ID?
1. Self-enrollment using the link https://abha.abdm.gov.in/abha/v3/register
2. Assisted Enrolment CMC Provides this service at all MRO counters at every OPD and in help desks. Please bring your Aadhaar ID along with your Aadhaar-linked mobile phone for the same.
What is required for ABHA ID creation?
Aadhaar Card and the mobile phone linked to Aadhaar card to receive the OTP.
Why create an ABHA and link it to the CMC hospital number?
The government of India has mandated that all patients be encouraged to have an ABHA ID created and linked to their hospital number for all the hospitals.
What is the benefit of creating the ABHA ID and linking it to the CMC hospital number?
Linking ABHA ID to the CMC Hospital number would help in the following ways
1. Verification of the Identity of a patient.
2. Patients will be able to access their hospital records digitally – work in progress.
